Director Akira Fujimoto and Ass. Prof. Aziz Ismatov attended the 17th ALIN General Meeting and International Conference ‘Legal Measures for Tackling Pandemic in Asia: Lessons Learned and the Way Forward’
CALE is a member-institution of the Asia Legal Information Network (ALIN) managed by Korea Legislation Research Institute (KLRI). KLRI annually hosts international event that integrates General Meeting and Conference attended by scholars from partner and non-partner research institutions. This year’s General Meeting was held on September 15, 2021 virtually, and attended by Director Akira Fujimoto. The International Conference, which followed after the General Meeting, gathered outstanding legal scholars across Asia to present their book chapters for the forthcoming volume in English titled ‘Legal Measures for Tackling Pandemic in Asia: Lessons Learned and the Way Forward’ (expected to be published by the KLRI in December 2021). Ass. Prof. Aziz Ismatov presented in this Conference his submitted book chapter titled ‘Uzbekistan and COVID-19: Governing Through Strong Executive Orders’.
