Appointment of Nagoya University alumni H.E. Pham Quang Hieu as a Deputy-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam
Congratulations to H.E. Pham Quang Hieu with his appointment as a Deputy-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam.
H.E. Pham Quang Hieu has graduated from Nagoya University in March 2005. While being enrolled in LL.M Comparative Law Program of the Graduate School of Law, he conducted research on intellectual property law and authored a master thesis titled ‘International Exhaustion of Trademark Rights: Toward a Unified Rule of Exhaustion of Trademark Rights in TRIPS’. After graduating from Nagoya University, he worked in various positions within the structure of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam. On 18 May, 2021, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has appointed him as new Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
We wish H.E. Pham Quang Hieu success in his position, and we are confident that such a promotion would contribute further to the Vietnamese foreign policy.
