\nThe diversification of work arrangements is prompting a reexamination of the traditional dichotomy between employment and self\u2011employment, as well as of core concepts such as worker status (including subordination) and the scope of social protection. In this session, speakers from Vietnam, Cambodia, Mongolia, and Uzbekistan will discuss the legal status and social protection of digital platform workers, focusing on the social issues each country faces and the current state of legal and institutional developments.
